Apply for a Grant

Need-based grants for restorative and neurorehabilitative care for children with HIE at birth. Begin with a brief inquiry.

Who may apply

  • Parents or legal guardians of children diagnosed with HIE at birth
  • Families seeking medically supervised restorative or neurorehabilitative care from a provider eligible under Shiva in Motion’s written standards

What to expect

Start with this brief screening inquiry; it takes about five minutes to complete. We will review your submission and follow up to let you know whether your situation may be within scope for a grant.

If your inquiry moves forward, we will invite you to complete a full application with supporting documentation. We will let you know exactly what is needed when that invitation arrives.

A few quick questions

Are you, or is any member of your immediate family, a founder, director, officer, or substantial contributor to Shiva in Motion?

Has any donor told you that funds have been set aside or designated specifically for your child or family?

If a grant were approved, do you expect to be ready to begin care within the next six months?

Shiva in Motion does not provide medical advice. Submission of an inquiry or application does not guarantee funding. All grants are subject to organizational policy and provider eligibility standards.

Timeline

We are in our founding year and are actively building our grant review process. Timeline details will be published here as our program is finalized. We will communicate expected timelines to families at each stage of the process.
